Welcome to the Coordination Office of the Water Research Network Baden-Württemberg of KIT
The scope of the Water Research Network is to enhance the collaboration across disciplines and locations in Baden-Württemberg in order to meet the future challenges of water research. The network was founded at the initiative of the Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg (Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of the Land of Baden-Württemberg).
The Water Research Network is supported by the new Water Research Funding Programme of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. As a central component, three interdisciplinary joint projects, so called 'Forschernetzwerke' (researcher networks), are being funded for a period of five years.
From 27 to 31 October 2019, the Black Forest Autumn School on water ages in the hydrological cycle will take place in the Waldhotel Zollernblick in the Black Forest.
On 30 September/1 October 2019, a networking event for young female scientists in aquatic sciences will take place at the University of Konstanz.
